What we collect

Your name, email address and password (passwords are stored encrypted — we can't see them).
The answers you give during onboarding: goal, target band, exam date, study preferences and time zone.
Your test answers, scores, essays and speaking recordings.
Messages you send us through the support form, and your conversations with the AI Tutor.
Cookies that keep you signed in. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use it

To run the service: sign you in, mark your tests and show your progress.
To reply when you contact us.
To improve our tests, using results in a way that doesn't identify you.

We don't sell your information and we don't show ads.

Where it is stored

Your account and test data are stored with Supabase on servers in Mumbai, India. The website is hosted by Vercel. These companies process data for us and are not allowed to use it for their own purposes.

The AI Tutor

When you use the AI Tutor or AI Practice Mode, your message, your recent conversation, your first name, target band and latest band scores are sent to Google (Gemini API) to write the reply. Your conversations are saved to your account so you can come back to them, and you can delete any conversation at any time. Don't share personal details you wouldn't want processed this way. AI answers are practice guidance and can be wrong.

Leaderboard

Other learners can see your first name, last initial, country, band and points on the leaderboard. You can hide yourself at any time in App Settings or on the leaderboard page.

Your speaking recordings

Recordings are stored privately. Only you can play them. When AI feedback for Writing and Speaking is added, essays and recordings may be sent to an AI provider to create your feedback — we'll update this page first.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is open. Ask us to delete your account and we'll remove your profile, answers and recordings.

Your choices

See and change your study profile at any time from your dashboard.
Ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion through the contact form.
Turn each type of in-app notification on or off in Notification Preferences.

Age

9Ready is intended for people aged 16 and over.

If we change how we use your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
